Popped in for a light lunch and it was lovely. Very reasonable prices for what you get and the portion sizes were perfect. Staff really friendly and helpful. Nice calm atmosphere. Tucked away from town so not busy at all like most places closer to town. Overall a great experience

Im 8 years old with my and family at the sunflower cafe and I like everything about it. Thank you so much serve's breakfast al l day what more could you ask for. Milkshakes are delicious 10 out of 10

First time in this cafe staff were friendly food was lovely I got sausage egg chips and beans and partner got full English breakfast. And was all great and reasonably priced

Great little cafe, but 4 * as I had to wait a substantial amount of time for my food (sausage sandwich was the only thing I ordered). The amount of time I had to wait was longer than the other cafe (3 squares cafe on Skinnergate) The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were very kind in the way they served me. I do understand though that the amount of time that I had to wait could have been due to the cafe being fairly busy.

There's something special about Sunflower Cafe. It's small, without being cramped, cosy, without being cringe. The food is simple and tasty. It's home made by a really small team behind the counter. I wish more places were like this. Simple doesn't have to mean basic. Sometimes, it's all you need.

Managed to squeeze our party of 5 in at short notice on a rainy day so that was a good start. Another customer was also kind enough to move to a different table to give us more space. Friendly and helpful staff took our orders and delivered our food quickly. I had corned beef pie with chips and beans and was practically licking the plate clean. Good food, good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and good prices. Can't really ask for more from a café.
